NoScint
High-precision GNSS positioning from the effects of ionospheric scintillation.
NoScint is an advanced software solution designed to protect high-precision GNSS positioning from the effects of ionospheric scintillation. Ionospheric scintillation can severely degrade satellite signals, causing positioning errors, signal fading, and loss of lock — particularly at equatorial and high latitudes.
These disturbances represent a critical challenge for any application requiring reliable, continuous real-time positioning. NoScint addresses this challenge by ingesting real-time scintillation data from a network of static GNSS reference stations and transforming it into per-satellite mitigation parameters delivered continuously to rover receivers operating in the field. The system monitors scintillation conditions across a defined Region of Interest and ensures that correction data reaches each rover based on its reported position — with second-level latency and no interruption to existing correction workflows.
The software supports both localized and wide-area deployments, enabling scalable mitigation across different operational scenarios. Its modular, cloud-native architecture ensures:
- Real-time processing with sub-second latency
- High availability and scalability
- Seamless integration with existing GNSS infrastructures via standard protocols
- Secure and reliable data delivery
Applications
NoScint enables safer and more robust performance for applications such as:
- Autonomous systems
- Precision agriculture
- High-accuracy surveying
- Real-time navigation and mobility services
The system restores signal reliability and positioning continuity under adverse ionospheric conditions. Furthermore, NoScint converts ionospheric awareness into operational resilience, improving GNSS accuracy, availability, and reliability where it matters most.
